The customer is a food producer with several production sites across the Benelux. The company is rebuilding its network and datacenter infrastructure step by step. Xylos co-designs that transformation and then takes over management of the environment.

The primary datacenter moved to an external colocation environment. A move like that stands or falls with the network layer underneath it. Connectivity has to be right before the first critical component makes the crossing, and it has to stay manageable afterwards.

Xylos took charge of the design, preparation, project coordination and implementation of the entire network and connectivity architecture within the datacenter. Concretely, that meant drawing up LAN, SAN and interconnect schemes, validating network connectivity, migrating the critical infrastructure components, and coordinating testing and handover.

After the migration, Xylos stayed on board with managed services for the environment: operational management, monitoring and governance, with technical expertise in infrastructure, connectivity and security close at hand.

The environment runs stably and securely in the new datacenter, ready for whatever comes next, with a partner that watches over it daily.
